This kit brings together all the components you need to adapt an M50 intake manifold to your M52TU engine.

No more headaches or compromises — this is the most complete adaptation kit available, allowing you to retain both the original Idle Control Valve (ICV) and the factory PCV system. This kit is almost plug and play. It includes:

  • Throttle body adapter plate for the M52TU: allows you to keep the original throttle body and ensures correct positioning relative to the throttle and cruise control cables

  • Grub screws to block the ICV ports on the cylinder head (thread tap available as an option)

  • New gaskets: throttle body gaskets (*2) and intake manifold gaskets (*6)

  • Injector rail adapter brackets (to be specified for either OEM injectors or Bosch injectors)

  • M50 air distribution fitting (brand-new genuine BMW part)

  • Pre-formed hoses for the ICV and PCV

  • T-fitting for the ICV and PCV air supply

  • Porting template for head intake port to match the M50 manifold (not mandatory but recommended if you want to get the most out of the M50’s manifold potential)
  • Complete hardware kit required for the swap

  • Detailed documentation for each component, including photos and explanations

Optional:

  • Brand-new intake air temperature sensor, pre-machined. This sensor is new and fully compatible with the stock ECU.
    Otherwise, you will need to file it to the correct dimensions and tap it to the non-standard M12x1.5 (fine pitch) thread.

  • M10 x 1.5 thread tap. If you don’t have one, you can optionally purchase one to thread the ICV ports in the cylinder head to allow installation of the grub screws.
